Hi, I’m Cristina Piccarozzi, your Communication Designer, with a passion for stories told through shape, colour, and dedication.
It started early. As a child, I loved drawing, making up stories, and sketching out my very first logos, long before I knew that was even a job. That curiosity never left. It just grew into a career.
My journey took me to Rome, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Graphic & Multimedia Design from La Sapienza — at the historic Faculty of Architecture in Valle Giulia — followed by a Master’s in Communication Design at the Politecnico di Milano, in the creative heart of the Design School at Bovisa. Most recently, a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute / Glasgow Caledonian University brought a human-centred dimension to everything I create.
Over the years I’ve lived and worked where great design happens — in agencies across Milan, Munich, Frankfurt, and now Darmstadt, where I’m based with my family and two children. From advertising agencies to freelance studio, I’ve worked across branding, corporate identity, print, web, motion, and UX — for clients ranging from startups to international names.
But what drives me isn’t the brief. It’s the story behind it. Every brand, every event, every business has something worth saying. My job is to help you say it beautifully — with experience, empathy, and care.
Now I’ve taken my own path as a freelancer — embracing new challenges, on my own terms, with the space and attention my work and my family both deserve. That balance inspires and motivates me every single day.
